Matt Takvorian

Matt has over ten years of experience in the Biotechnology Sector with nearly eight years in Licensing and Technology Transfer. Currently, Matt is the Director of Business Development – Licensing at Addgene. He manages Addgene’s Technology Transfer group and explores new avenues to meet Addgene’s mission to “Accelerate research and discovery by improving access to useful research materials and information.”
Prior to re-joining Addgene in 2019, Matt work with Absolute Antibody and Kerafast as both organizations were expanding their licensing activities in research reagents. Matt holds an MBA (BioSciences Management) and a Master in Microbial Biotechnology, both from North Carolina State University.
