Leena Prabhu

Leena Prabhu, Ph.D., M.B.A., leads the licensing team at OTM (Office of Technology Management), which is responsible for commercialization of technologies at The Washington University in Saint Louis. Leena and her team evaluate invention disclosures, manage patent portfolios, negotiate licenses and develop commercialization strategies to maximize the translational impact of university technologies.

Prior to joining the OTM, Leena worked both as a research scientist and later as a senior licensing associate at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Leena has also worked at Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals (Merck) as a product management associate.

She holds a Ph.D in Molecular Biology from I.I.Sc. (Indian Institute of Science) and a M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
