Gaylene Anderson

As Boehringer Ingelheim’s Director, Global Transactions and Contracts Management, Gaylene is responsible for negotiating licensing/collaboration deals, research agreements, and managing strategic alliance programs. Prior to joining BI, Gaylene served as the Director, Cleveland Clinic/ University of Notre Dame Global Alliance Commercialization Program – managing all life science IP. Earlier in her career she worked for the University of Idaho and the University of Hawaii as a Senior Licensing Associate. Gaylene has a strong focus on entrepreneurship activities, and as a result, she created over a dozen university startup companies – including her own (Waterproof Kids®).
