John Zhang

Since 2013, as the general secretary of International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), Mr. John ZHANG committed to the international technology transfer cooperation, science and technology commercialization, technology transfer professionals training and related knowledge system construction. He promote ITTN established 35 countries 610 institutions of international technology transfer network, accumulative total to undertake commissioned by Ministry of Science and Technology of the central ministries and commissions such as the BRICS Technology Transfer Center, China-Italy Technology Transfer Center and other inter-governmental platforms for international technology transfer cooperation have carried out more than 26 special projects, continuous innovative technology to implement the introduction of overseas projects each year nearly 3000. In addition, ITTN has become one of the national level international technology transfer center which identified by Ministry of Science and Technology in 2018.

In 2016, Mr. John ZHANG was responsible for the establishment of the International Technology Transfer Committee of China Association for International Science and Technology Cooperation (CAISTC), and the establishment of the national training and certification system for “China International Technology Transfer Manager”. Since now 47 training sessions has been organized and more than 1,800 Chinese and foreign students has been trained. In 2019, Mr. John ZHANG was appointed as the executive director of China International Talent Exchange and Development, member of the Academic Committee, Standardization Committee of Chinese Management and Research Institute on Science & Technology Evaluation and Achievements, and National Technical Committee for Science and Technology Assessment Standards (SAC/TC580).
