Glen Gardner

Glen Gardner is President of the Vortechs Group, a retained executive search firm, specializing in assisting organizations worldwide to recruit technology transfer, intellectual property licensing, commercialization, and innovation professionals.

Glen served in the U.S Navy for six years, as a Navy nuclear instructor and operated nuclear submarines. With the Navy, he traveled the world and gained cultural and leadership experience. Before starting the Vortechs Group in 1998, Glen’s professional background included technical sales and sales training.

Under Glen’s leadership, the Vortechs Group has placed talented individuals regionally, nationally, and internationally. Client types include universities, national laboratories, medical research institutes, hospitals, intellectual property consulting firms, and industry.

When not running the Vortechs Group, talking to clients and candidates, Glen likes to ride his mountain bike, participate in speedskating, attend concerts, travel, and enjoy life with his wife, Christine, granddaughter Penny and Waverly, and the rest of his family, including a furry dachshund named Lucy.
