Simon Pearson

Simon Pearson is Professor of Agri-Food Technology and Founding Director of the Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology at the University of Lincoln. His research group focusses on the development of robotic and autonomous systems as well as digital system deployed across the agri-food sector. This includes the development of robotic systems for crop harvesting, crop care and phenotyping. Prior to joining Lincoln, Simon was CEO of a large farming group and worked as a technologist for Marks and Spencer plc.
